At the end of the first round of this challenge, I took myself off restriction to do holiday crafting.  One of my projects was hanging and decorating garland around my front door and railing.  I decided to keep the garland up and redecorate it for different seasons/holidays.  These are my creations for Valentine's Day.

I also made a holiday centerpiece for my dining table.  Hmm...this could count as #6 in my Dollar Tree Challenge, but I'll let that one alone since I didn't think of that until now.

I also got a couple of sewing projects done over Thanksgiving and Christmas break...
I'd had the material for this tablecloth for months, but didn't get around to making it until just before Thanksgiving.  My table isn't a standard size, so I couldn't just go out and buy one.  In the future, I plan to make tablecloths for different holidays.  For now, I'll simply change out the centerpieces when I can.

So, I wanted a new "branded" craft apron to match my new craft cases (which I'll show you later) and I really like the houndstooth fabric pattern, so I finally made this.  I say "finally" because it took me several weeks to get the fabric.  I have a Michael's, Jo-Ann Fabrics, and Hobby-Lobby within a five mile radius of my apartment (Dave Ramsey says NO!).  However, Michael's doesn't sell fabric (they sell sewing supplies but NO fabric 😕), the staff at Jo-Ann Fabrics didn't know what houndstooth was and I couldn't find any (Mom, come get me, I'm scared 😱).  I looked on their website and found houndstooth fabric but there was no way on God's great earth I was paying $20+ a yard for cotton fabric (someone fell on their head--hard).  So, Hobby-Lobby to the rescue. Their website said they carried the fabric in-store, however they were sold out at my closest store when I checked the first couple of times, but it was eventually available.  By the way, this fabric was nowhere NEAR $20 a yard even without their 40% off coupon.

Anyway...

Now back to the Get 'er done challenge.  The rules for this round will be the same as last round.  I will restrict myself from buying any new craft supplies until March.  The only exceptions are:
  1. I need an ingredient to finish something I started with the supplies I had on hand.
  2. Someone pays me to make something I need to buy supplies for.  I'm NOT turning down money for this challenge.
  3. I have a class and need supplies for it.
  4. I finish all my projects and/or run out of supplies.  You think it's not possible, but I am almost out of yarn (**gasp**).

I'll keep you posted on how it goes.

Well, let's GET 'ER DONE!
